Sinead graduated and became a Registered Massage Therapist with the CMTO in 2015. Through her travels she recognized the importance of healthy muscular wellbeing. She believes that the mechanics of our muscles, joints and fascia and nervous system are essential to everyday wellness. Sleeping, sitting, standing, driving, working out, pregnancy, post trauma, and many other chronic and acute conditions may all lead to sleep disturbance, aches, pains, joint dysfunction, injury or swelling. By understanding your unique routines, postures and discomforts, Sinead will be able to create a practical treatment plan including: Massage, Stretching, MET, Manual Lymph Drainage, Pre & Postnatal, Scar Rehabilitation, Injury Recovery, Relaxation and many more modalities.

Sinead will also review and create a client history profile to help the progression of your treatment plan. Having open communication during treatment helps to adapt the massage treatment to your condition and bring awareness back into your muscular body and overall wellness.

I began my RMT journey at Ability 13 years ago, graduating from Everest college. I had the privilege to learn from fantastic RMTs with different treatment and clinic styles. My mentors here have guided me well! Alot is from real life. You! …and navigating my pirate ship as a solo mom to 3 young boys!! If you know.. you know!! 😂

My treatment style is Therapeutic Relaxation. Your body has its own unique tune, which noone uses the same, everyone has a different method to madness! Following the lines of stress; with a slow, rhythmical application of techniques to activate and release the build up of adhesive trigger points, a circulatory flush to wake even inert tissues, and a mental break from your dependent responsibilities for even a short while.

It’s a beautiful trifecta.

It is not a light and fluffy pampering, but a break from your reality with a strong, yet gentle focus on how you can feel your best, and optimize your body.

COVID has been a learning curve, now post pandemic, we all have a story. You are heard and so inspirational!

Treat yourself! You deserve it!

Prior to working as a Massage Therapist, Anthony was a Collegiate Baseball player, a marathoner, a body builder and a trainer. He also worked as a Caseworker in NYC. Through his love of athletics and helping people he realized that Massage Therapy was the career for him.

He has worked as a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist and Bowen work Therapist for more than 20 years. He graduated from the Swedish Institute in New York City in 1993. After moving to Canada in 2012, he enrolled in the Massage Therapy program at Algonquin College in Ontario and graduated in April 2017.

Anthony looks at the body as a whole and can sense tension patterns to find the cause of his client’s musculoskeletal pain. He uses a multitude of modalities including deep tissue, sports massage, myofascial release, neuromuscular/trigger point and Swedish, blending them to create unique therapy sessions to help restore balance to the body. His work is described as precise, strong and relaxing. He does not overload a person’s body while they are in pain or overly stressed. If his clients do not respond well to massage therapy he takes a gentler approach through their nervous system with Bowen work. His past work focused on professional dancers and athletes, including Merce- Cunningham, Alvin Alley and The NYC Rockettes. He has worked in upscale Health Clubs, the Bliss Spa at the W Hotel in New York City and has owned his own Therapeutic Massage Studio, Healthy Body Works Inc. in Brooklyn, N.Y.

He is passionate about his work as a Registered Massage Therapist and his goal is to help people with chronic pain, repetitive injuries and scarring.
